Jack Lake Campground is set to open for the season on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
At this time, there are no changes to the previous COVID-19 restrictions. Out of county travel is not recommended. Click here to download the Langlade County Public Service Announcement. Jack Lake Campground will accept new reservations for campsites, group sites, shelters, or cabins. Reservations for campsites and cabins ONLY starting June 1st. Please read and share the following restrictions before coming to Jack Lake. Note: The showers will be open and available to campers during day time hours. The office will remain closed so plan accordingly and bring your own quarters!
Veteran’s Memorial Campground
Located along beautiful Jack Lake 15-miles north of Antigo, Wisconsin. Jack Lake is a pristine, crystal clear, spring-fed lake surrounded by hundreds of acres of the county-owned forest, rich with recreational opportunities and wildlife. The park and campground are situated on the lake’s west and south shore, nestled among mature maple, birch, oak, and pine trees, providing a relaxing and peaceful setting.
Get ready to enjoy the Northwoods and smell the crackling fire! The campground is open from mid-May through mid-October. The campground consists of 48 individual campsites with electrical hook-ups. You may wish to call ahead to check availability since there are only 20 reservable sites (1, 5, 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 25, 28, 29, 31, 35, 39, 40, 41, 42, and 43). A $10.00 per night discounts available for veterans with proper military ID. All other sites are booked on a first-come-first-serve basis. Pets are allowed in the campground on a leash. Check out time is 1 pm. Amenities include newly constructed flush toilets and a shower facility, firewood sales, ice sales, boat rentals, picnic tables, fire rings, playground equipment, volleyball and basketball courts, 18-hole disc golf, horseshoe pits, and an RV dumping station.
Reservations for the 2020 season will be accepted starting January 2 at 8:30 am for group sites and shelter reservations. Reservations for campsite and cabin reservations will start at 8:30 am on January 3. Reservations by call-ins only to 715-623-6214.
