Jack Lake Campground will remain open until it starts to freeze at night.  We will post our exact closing date on our Facebook page, website, and park office answering machine.  Veteran’s Memorial Campground

Located along beautiful Jack Lake 15-miles north of Antigo, Wisconsin. Jack Lake is a pristine, crystal clear, spring-fed lake surrounded by hundreds of acres of the county-owned forest, rich with recreational opportunities and wildlife. The park and campground are situated on the lake’s west and south shore, nestled among mature maple, birch, oak, and pine trees, providing a relaxing and peaceful setting.

Get ready to enjoy the Northwoods and smell the crackling fire! The campground is open from mid-May through mid-October. The campground consists of 48 individual campsites with electrical hook-ups. You may wish to call ahead to check availability 46 out of the 48 sites are available on a reservable basis by calling our park office at 715.623.6214. Reservations must be made 7 days in advance. If a site is not reserved, you may register for that site on a first come, first serve basis up until the next reservation date.  A $10.00 per night discounts available for veterans with proper military ID.  Pets are allowed in the campground on a leash. Check out time is 1 pm. Amenities include newly constructed flush toilets and a shower facility, firewood sales, ice sales, boat rentals, picnic tables, fire rings, playground equipment, volleyball and basketball courts, 18-hole disc golf, horseshoe pits, and an RV dumping station.

Campsites are $35.00 per night. A veteran discount of $10 per night is available when presenting a valid military ID. Forty-six out of the 48 sites are available on a reservable basis by calling our park office at 715.623.6214. Reservations must be made 7 days in advance. If a site is not reserved, you may register for that site on a first-come, first-serve basis up until the next reservation date. Full payment must be received within 20 days or before arrival, whichever date comes sooner. No refunds will be issued after full payment is received.

Starting later this year and for 2022 reservations, we will be implementing an online reservation system as an option to make reservations at Jack Lake Campground. More info to follow!

All sites include 20/30 amp electrical hook-up. NOTICE: Regarding electrical pedestals at Jack Lake Campground.  30 amps are provided per site, however, the circuit that each site is on cannot support all sites drawing the maximum ampage at the same time.  Running an air conditioner, or several other high-demand appliances will result in a power failure.  Please manage your electrical use.

Pets are allowed in the campground on a leash. Check-out time is 1:00 pm.  Free RV dump station available for paid campers.

Our Cabins

Timberdoodle Lodge, Ruffed Grouse Retreat, and Gobblers Roost Cabins

These 16' x 20' cabin sleeps 5, includes LP fireplace, electrical outlets, dining table, chairs, bunk beds, grill and fire pit.  

$75.00 per night - Sunday – Thursday. Friday and Saturday require a 2-night minimum.

Cabin Policy
    • Cabins are on a reservation basis only.
    • Cabins are $75.00 per night.  There is a two night minimum for weekends from June - August.
    • Reservations can be made by calling the park manager at 715-623-6214.  Reservations are accepted starting the 2nd workday after New Years (January 5, 2021) at 8:30 a.m.
    • Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
    • Check-out time is 1:00 p.m.
    • No pets in cabin.
    • Pets must be on a leash and not left unattended.
    • Maximum of six people per cabin.
    • No smoking in cabins.
    • No running electric extension cords outside.
    • Do not move furniture outside.
    • No additional RVs parked at cabins.
    • Two vehicle limit at cabins.
    • Must follow check-out procedures (remove garbage, sweep cabin, and wipe down cabin).
    • Campers will be charged for damage to cabin or furniture.

Failure to follow policy including check-out procedure will be subject to Park fines.
